Just plain & simple

Plain and simple . . . that about sums it up.  I was just tinkering around with some new goodies I received in the mail today.  I'm really tired but just had to play with my new goodies.  I was pleasantly surprised when I opened my mailbox this evening and found a package from Ellen Hutson.  Inside this box was the complete set of the rectangle Nestabilites, two bottles of Dew Drops, and a Copic Spica Glitter Pen.

For this card, I used white cardstock, Poinsettia Dew Drops and my rectangle Nestabilities.  The Christmas tree is from the Holiday Magic set from TAC and is stamped in VersaMagic Tea Leaves green. I used my Copic Spica pen to dot the scallop.

I’ve been noticing on all my favorite blogs that Copic Sketch Markers are the big thing.  Well, I couldn’t stand it any longer, I had to see what all the hype was about.  Needless to say . . . I’m hooked!  Man, I love these things!

For this cute little penguin card, I used my TAC Level B hostess set called Perky Penguins, red and green Bazzill, Merry Wishes paper collection and my NEW Copic markers.  The markers I used were Garnet, Cadmium Red, Yellow Green, and Willow.   All I can say is that I will definitely be adding these babies to my stamping tools!

Christmas Wish List

I totally love this idea!  This little project was inspired by Heather Scott's Blessings Photo Holder project made using the giant paper clips from Walmart.  It's magnetic so you can hang it on the fridge!  How cool is that?!

For my project, I used Christmas Checklist from the new TAC Fall Supplement, Bazzill cardstock, pop dots and a magnet.  Nothing to color or anything . . . just simply cute!  Thanks, Heather for sharing this really cool project!

Heather's Monday card sketch

I'm running a few days behind but I really wanted to do Heather's Monday card sketch.  This is what I came up with.  I used Fun Filled Holidays and the little saying from May Your Merry, Prisma Color pencils, birch cardstock and Bazzill cardstock.
